On a day at the beach, 18 year old Mimi not only discovers that she is a mermaid but that she belongs to the royal family of the waters. Now she is faced with a dilemma of whether continuing her normal life outside of the waters as a regular 18 year old girl or to leave that life behind and fill her role of a princess in the waters.
