Rise of Omega

On December 21, 2012, 5% of Earth's population suffers a sudden mutation. Supernatural powers awaken within people and slowly they become known in the media. Several groups form that either help, hinder, or oppose these powered-humans, known as metahumans. The story follows Jon, a surfer from Hawaii with pyrokinetic powers as he navigates through this new era of humanity as the mystery behind the event that gave humanity powers begins to unfold.
