For seventeen years, Charlie Morrow has led a painfully average life. This all changes the day he meets Maud, a mysterious girl who hasn’t spoken a word since she was fourteen, and her ominous guardian, Erik. Following the influence of these figures, Charlie is pulled out of his domestic norm and dragged into the bizarre underworld they inhabit.
