The Recondite Woods are a mystical place. Full of both beauty & dangerous creatures. The Woods know many things but they do not reveal their secrets. This is all Conrad knows & all he wants to. He just knows that he can focus a lot better in the Recondite Woods, regardless of all the things he sees that try to bite, attack, eat, seduce, bribe, or otherwise marvel him.
