Beneath the Surface [2017]

For the past 100 years, the ocean has been strictly off limits. Unusual creatures have shown themselves to visitors, but most don't make it back to tell the stories. Restricting access to the oceans was the only way to keep humanity safe. But after a century people have become less afraid and found ways to sneak past coastguards. Those who venture into the sea experience things they can't describe. Sofia, a young woman living near the coast, falls victim to that curiosity, too.
