As a war waged on between mysterious spiritual forces, humans were threatened with extinction. After banding together and sealing them away, they managed to harness the powers those forces once held. This lead to an elite class of powered, called Power-Bloods, that began to be worshiped like celebrities. Dorell is young man with no powers who resents these elites. But after entering his local training facility he finds they sport Angela Blune, a famous Power-Blood, as their star pupil.
