They steal for a living - because living is to steal. In this world, there is a secret amount of people who are all connected by business of trading. If you are in the business, regardless of why- you are paired with another- every worker works in two. Going under aliases, they steal and gather valuable goods for trading, and good money is to be set for life. Night and Dusk are just a pair of business partners- or so they thought.
