The Shimmering Bayou Correctional Academy is said to be one of the most humane reform schools on the continent. The Academy’s newest student, Victor Chai, quickly realizes that statement is a lie. Students of the Academy are terrified of disappearing without a trace, sure that no adults will ever search for them. Victor, his journalist father Fyodor, and the members of the mysterious student-led group Operation 32 will stop at nothing to find the missing students and bring those responsible to justice.
