A monster attack inside of Toraton City brings together Brio, a timid fire-wielding Scorcher, and Monster Hunter Capita, a hard-headed ice-wielding Chiller. After Brio is fired from her job as a chef, she joins Capita and the Monster Hunters in order to earn some respect. However, the respect she seeks and her new responsibilities as a Monster Hunter aren't quite what she expected. After a mysterious murder in the ranks, it's up to Brio and Capita to uncover an insidious plot that stretches deeper than either of them could have imagined.
