In 2050, technology has improved exponentially ever since scientists found ways to replicate the forces driving human magic. But the world is not yet utopic. Some high ranking scientists think the solution is overt: if a person's belief system can be controlled, then conflict will cease. Each surviving subject takes on an ideology to represent as the method is slowly perfected. But after 60 years, escape is inevitable.
