Starscendence

South Padre Island, 2007, Azalea and her college friends encounter Kailani, a beautiful space mermaid goddess who's lost her divinity. With her help, an expedition begins to seek Starscendence within the Solar System before an ancient mechanical god, The Clockwork Cat, ends their universe.
