The taste of blackberries is medieval romance taking place in France. Laurent is a hard-working benedictine monk in the abbey of Berzieux. Everything changes when he meets Gauvain, a noble seeking sanctuary after being attacked. He’s hidden by Laurent from the sight of Father Jean, the abbot.
