Not a typical series I read, but I'm surprised by how much it impressed me. A really great enemies to lovers slowburn romance that deals with war, discrimination, grief, and healing. The emotional beats are effective, the conflicts are engaging, and the ways the main characters grow and develop are really satisfying, Bethany is on my shitlist tho. It seems like the series is raring up for its climax, and I'm looking forward to it!
