VibeCheckAug 07, 2026Yeah, the praise for this one is totally warranted. I mean just look at the coloring in the webcomic! It's all so intricate and downright tasty. It's also one of the funniest webcomics I read this year, there are so many lines that are just downright unhinged. Pretty much entire cast is amazing, and really elevates the webcomic. There's so much intrigue surrounding Chloe & Clair and how they interact with everyone, Mars is hilarious and has really great development, Pepper's the best straightman this series could ask for, and Achilles is honestly the greatest down-bad character ever made. Despite its absurd slice of life energy, there's this uncomfortable feeling that creeps up time and time again that something's up, and there are bits and pieces that hint towards something much bigger and darker at play. It hasn't been revealed in full yet, but I have a general idea of where it's headed and I'm fearful. There are some sprawls where the pacing is too slow for my liking, but they're often intercut with memorable jokes that hold my attention.
