The Soulcaster follows Stanis, a wizard raised by humans after a tragic accident leaves him orphaned, and Aiden, the Faun that saved him from suffering the same fate. After years of being apart, the pair reunite, and Stanis finds out the hard way who he really is. updates every other Sunday, sometimes with bonuses in between!

VibeCheckAug 12, 2026I wasn't that invested with it. I like the urban fantasy aesthetic and the designs for all the mythical characters, even though most remain in their human forms throughout. I found the story decent at first, but it lost me when Aiden and Stanis got together way too quickly to be believable. I know it's explained by their bond in their past lives, but I didn't vibe with it. I also wasn't a fan of how literally all of Stanis' friends were in on the conspiracy, especially when Izumi was revealed to be a secret agent??? I also just couldn't get invested with Stanis after making an ableist joke. The art is just okay to me, though I have issues with some of the formatting choices. I'm not a fan of how the semi-transparent speech bubbles look when they overlap with the background and white space. Making some of the most important moments in the story extremely desktop unfriendly by making them readable on a phone horizontally was certainly a choice.
