VibeCheckAug 13, 2026While the plot did have some hiccups, some episodes dragged on longer than I would’ve liked, and some of the magic concepts and story beats were too confusing for me, I largely enjoyed my time with this comic. The best part of it is definitely the characters. Following a town full of blue collar people trying to solve magic problems is such a fun idea, and the quirky cast really makes it worth the read. Jake especially, he’s such a chill protagonist! The comic is also unafraid to get experimental and weird, especially with the ending. Despite its ups and downs, I still really like it
