VibeCheckAug 11, 2026I’m someone who doesn’t have a lot of experience with Skullgirls. I like some of the characters quite a bit, but I’m largely in the dark about the overarching plot. As this series serves as a prequel to everything, I think it sold me well enough on the world and story of the series. It does fall into some pitfalls regarding pacing issues and some characters are either unlikable or don’t contribute much, but I liked it enough as is
