When Nagyunn’s twin brother, Najin, is murdered before his very eyes, he vows to avenge his brother’s death by assuming Najin’s identity. But although the two may look alike, when it comes to fighting, Nagyunn lacks the talent and skill his brother possessed. In order to successfully execute his plot for revenge, Nagyunn resolves to train himself to become the prodigious knight-in-training his brother once was. Will Nagyunn be able to keep his identity a secret before others begin to catch on to his act?

VibeCheckAug 12, 2026The Ember Knight is an interesting one. Compared to other action manhwa, this one sticks out for the amount of mind games at play. There's really good tension with how Nagyunn has to constantly manipulate all sides of the conflict in order to make progress in his end goal. I especially like how he remains weak pretty much all throughout and has to accommodate for his wimpiness with his sheer intimidation factor and giant brain. The big brain scenes can be pretty cool, some of the side characters stick out, and the action is tight. Pacing can be a bit slow at times and the episodes are too long for my liking, but I still came out enjoying it.
