Zoa always thought there was nothing more cruel and monstrous than a pirate -- then she became one. Thanks to a mysterious Jinn, her soul is trapped in the body of the dread pirate BlackSmith, the man who tried to kill her. Now she must lead his bloodthirsty crew and sail under the flag that terrorized her village in search of a way to get her life back. Sadly, with each raid and battle, Zoa is learning that monsters aren't born. They are made.

VibeCheckAug 06, 2026I love me some piratic adventures, and this really scratches that niche. It admittedly did take some time to grow on me, but once it introduced one of my favorite webtoon villains, it really helped me become way more invested. That ending really pulled out all the stops too. Overall this one reeeally grew on me over time.
