Many years after the "Hollows", super humans with unique abilities, appeared on Earth, Elliot discovers that he has the strange ability to imitate the "singularities of other Hollows. He is quickly recruited by EMBER, a government organization dedicated to the care and elimination of wild hollows. With his unorthodox crew, he seeks to find the reason other Hollows across the country are transforming into monsters!

VibeCheckAug 13, 2026Surprised to find out it's by the author of VIVI. The author even snuck in a cameo of the protag, and I think they're hinting that Vivi's gonna be used as a character here, so that's interesting (update: turns out she’s an entirely new character). That aside, this was so hecking cool. It reminded me a lot of Chainsaw Man, but still had its own identity and ideas. I really enjoyed the twist and the author struck gold with the main villain. Unfortunately, just as it was really getting good the series just… abruptly ended. The main villain was unceremoniously killed off, the rushed pacing KILLED the momentum the last few episodes built up, and it left tons of questions unanswered. This actively hurts the series, and I’m sure Webtoon is more at fault with this than the author, not the first time their meddling has caused a series to prematurely end.
