Peace Restaurant

Been a while since I've read a manhwa! My track record with them has been VERY mixed, leaning more towards negative. Thankfully Peace Restaurant wasn't that bad of an experience. It's very One Punch Man-like where it focuses on an unexpectedly OP character (absolutely getting a blog btw). While Sua does have cute moments and I like her dedication to cooking, she feels perfect a lot of the time for me to really stay invested in her. Thankfully her workers Belial and Nhēdhuk are both captivating characters with their own dedicated storylines that kept my attention. Despite how long the series felt, it's able to stay refreshing with each arc. I do wish some tied more into the restaurant and cooking theme, but the ideas presented are generally interesting. The food does look delicious, I'd certainly want to try the tteokbokki and fairy mushroom mixed noodles. In terms of other issues I have, the comedy is hit or miss, a lot of the side characters are forgettable, and That Man ik his name is Mua but it's funnier wasn't that interesting of a villain. There's also one nasty stain on the series that really keeps me from saying I recommend it. There's a notable character introduced half-way through named Gillian, a thousand year old dragon presented as a young boy, who gets hooked up with adult-presenting dragon women twice in the series… I don't need to explain why that made me very uncomfortable. Even with that, I was invested enough for the ending to lightly pull at my heartstrings, so good job on that.
